Jomtien Condos vs. Condos in Pattaya or Naklua
The reason why Jomtien is the preferred choice for most Expats in the Pattaya area is because it simply is the best area of Pattaya with its several kilometer long stretch of Jomtien Beach & Dongtan Beach starts where Jomtien Beach ends. The beaches are cleaner and you have a road along the beach which is Jomtien beach Road. Transportation from Jomtien Beach road all the way down Thrapraya Road is easy and only costs 10 baht per ride per person. Shopping is easy at either the fresh produce market on Soi 7 or on Soi Watboon or a drive up to Sukhumvit Road where you will find several supermarkets including Macro, Tesco Lotus, Big C and others.
